Yes; I spent a lot of time at Brackenridge Field Station in Austin, TX, during my graduate school days there, and I went on a lot of field trips around the SW USA for my dissertation when at Texas A&M University. While in Austin I became interested in new vs. old growth feeders, and did research on sesiids and caterpillars, beginning my work on Asterocampa in the Dept. Entomol. at TAMU.
