Reddish Bee - Trachusa cordaticeps - Female
Dripping Springs, Hays County, Texas, USA
July 26, 2019
Size: 12 - 15mm.
Bee was chunky and had a shiny, reddish-orange head and thorax. Have never seen anything like it. Foraging on Zexmenia sp. blossoms.
