Drastera sp. Comparison
Let's compare this with the last one that you filmed. Check out the size (width) of the median band. There are other differences, but this feature is the most obvious. The hind-wings are very different in color, as you probably know.
Drasteria fumosa: (wide, with a small dip on the AM line) -- vs. -- Drasteria divergens: (thinner, with a large double-dip on the AM line) ...and also similar to Drasteria convergens:

Thank you Bob for the comparison
When I was trying to ID this specimen I was looking only at the photo of the live individual, the pinned specimen is still on the spreading board, so I didn't look at the hind-wings. I should have waited until the spread specimen is ready to photograph, then I would have noticed the difference in the hind-wings.

In the past week I've found 3 species of Drasteria. I find it interesting that in 11 years of "black-lighting" for moths around our home, I've found a total (including this week's finds) of 4 D. howlandii, 3 D. divergens, & 1 D. fumosa. So, in 11 years: 8 specimens of Drasteria, 3 of them this week. The recent specimen of D. howlandii is still on the spreading board, but I did check the hind-wings before posting it to BugGuide.

edit 14 Oct 2019: I've now added the photo of the spread specimen.
