Data updates to the distribution maps are automatic and I have no control over them. (...other than by placing or removing images to that taxon level)
However, the system updates to the those maps can be somewhat slow and it can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days for it to change.
If we look at the data tab right-now, there is a listing for a Colorado sighting, (your's) below the map, but the state isn't darkened. Check back later today or tomorrow and that map will change. I usually check see it update within 24 hours.

Yes, you are outside of the known range, here and on MPG. This species is widespread in the north and known worldwide. (native to Europe, western Asia, and northern Africa)
