Looks like Syrphidae
My first thought was Ornidia obesa but the thorax doesn't looks shiny enough. Could be the angle. I can't make out the wing veins clearly.

In the field, I assumed blow fly so addressed my attention to the spider. The brown eye doesn't say Ornidia to me. But if indeed it is a syprphid then perhaps Copestylum? C. vesicularium is pale at the base of the abdomen and the eyes are brown. I cropped tight on the wing and lightened it.
