Huntsman Olios - Curicaberis

Huntsman Olios - Curicaberis
Hollywood, Los Angeles County, California, USA
February 20, 2007
Size: 7-8mm
I see that Ubick et al say body size can be 7-30mm, so this could be an adult female. (Ruler shows mm/cm.) But my students(third graders)would really like to know if it's female or male, if possible. So I'm wondering if this could possibly be an immature? We have been very fortunate to have several species of gravid females and now have 4 wk old Misumenoides and Agelenids, Green lynxes on the way, and we've LOVE to have Olios spiderlings, too! We study them and then release them where we collected the moms. Thanks for your help.
