Identification
Flagellate apiscrobal hair is diagnostic within the pulchella group. This is the wiry thin hair sticking out the side of the face at the top of the antennal scrobes, highlighted in green here:

Cryptic soil dweller. Also found in rotten wood and old fallen nuts.
