Cornulactica varicornis

Cornulactica varicornis
Allen Acres, Pitkin, Vernon Parish, Louisiana, USA
July 26, 2019
Appears to be just the second U.S. record (and the first Louisiana record) for this genus and species!

Nice find, John!
Judging from the weave on the background it was one of those tiny non-moth critters we all "overlooked at."

Extraordinary!
Do we know country of origin?

ok
found the info, hab. Mexico; Guatemala

this is its country of origin
it's most-certainly native to TX and LA, just only recently discovered here

Good to know
thanks!
