Erichsonius patella ? - Sunius debilicornis
Pitkin, Vernon Parish, Louisiana, USA
July 27, 2019
not widely reported on this site but is reported in Louisiana in other sources .. the image is similar. Any ideas?
I apologize for image quality, was cropped from a moth photo, the moth being the principal object of the photo.

Moved from Paederinae.

Moved
Moved from Rove Beetles.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

I would think Achenomorphus corticinus...
but the resolution isn't good enough and the angle of the prothorax and head are misleading

I can see that
and there is no Louisiana record, too bad the image is not clearer … maybe someone else at the gathering photographed this.

Hypomedon debilicornis?
Do you have this species in the USA? Always recommended to collect the Staphylinidae instead of making pictures.
