This very active wasp was dif
This very active wasp was difficult to photograph. I've seen them for many years in the summer making lazy "S" curves across the yard about 12-18" above the grass. On a few occasions I've seen one on the ground, searching through the grass for prey. The orange antennae are distinctive and seem to curl and uncurl as they feed on mint blossoms.
