Square-headed wasp? - Tachytes guatemalensis - Male
Rural, outside Richmond, Hanover County, Virginia, USA

Size: Approx. 1”
The two times that I have observed this species, it was doing a slow spin around a leaf. This one today was also thumping it’s abdomen. I don’t know if this in indicative of anything, but thought I’d mention it.
