Green Shiny Beetle - Potential Chrysochus - Chrysochus auratus
Diefenbaker Park, Saskatoon and Area, Saskatchewan, Canada

Found this brilliantly shiny beetle walking in Diefenbaker Park. It was not far from the old Nutana Cemetery and was out in the open trying to launch itself from a tall strand of grass.

It was originally posted on Inaturalist.org and ID suggestions there is Chrysochus.
