Donate

If you enjoy BugGuide.Net and find it useful, there are many ways to help support the site.

Participate

First and foremost, consider donating your time by helping others. An active community that makes others feel welcome is essential. When you can offer help on unidentified images, take time to comment and give pointers. If you are interested in becoming an editor, simply contact John. We need all the help we can get to organize the guide and add content.

Monetary Donation

Unable to find time to help out? Then you may be able to make a monetary donation. As a complex high-traffic site, it needs funding for infrastructure and upkeep. BugGuide currently serves over 3 million requests per day.

As one of the best sources of entomological information on the web, BugGuide is currently modernizing and donations go directly to this effort.

You can give using a credit card through the Iowa State University Foundation. Your gift is tax-deductible.

There are two ways to give monetarily: a one-time gift or a recurring gift. A recurring gift helps BugGuide become a sustainable project. Click below to donate:

All donations are much appreciated! Please note that I do not have access to the donation records as you give; I am only provided a statement quarterly. So I am unable to personally thank you but please accept my heartfelt thanks.
