Tucson Mts. moth - Archirhoe neomexicana

Tucson Mts. moth - Archirhoe neomexicana
Tucson Mts., Pima County, Arizona, USA
February 26, 2008
This moth had a wingspan of about 1 inch. It was floating in a mountain "puddle." I decided to turn it over with a twig to get a look at the other side and upon touching it, it flapped a couple times and flew up to land on a Cholla where I got the photo.
