Conifer dwelling beetle - Xylotrechus

Conifer dwelling beetle - Xylotrechus
Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, USA

Size: ~15mm
Were it not for the short antennae, I may have called it a long horned beetle, as the body shape seems right. I found this one flying slowly above the ground near a bunch of Douglas fir trees, but I've seen them once before, likewise on a coniferous tree.

The ones I saw before would get into a fight as soon as they encountered each other, which resulted in them both falling off the tree. I believe I also saw one that was yellow, but that may have just been the lighting.
