Dragonfly above a pond in Colorado

Dragonfly above a pond in Colorado
SW Loveland, Larimer County, Colorado, USA
August 15, 2019
Head on shot, so not as easy to ID as a side view. Any help would be appreciated.

Aeshna palmata?
You are most likely correct. That yellow face with black cross stripe and that particular color of blue on the abdomen look very good. However, without a look at the cerci or side of the thorax, it is hard to be sure.

Moved to Aeshnidae for expert identification.

Maybe?
I think it might be a Paddle-tailed Darner. Any help would be appreciated!
