Came to 250 Watt Mercury Vapor light.

Reason for posting. If my id is correct:
Genus Peltodytes would be added to the CA map in BG.
Species P. simplex not in BG, this would add a species.

Head
-- Head uniformly pale without black collar.
Thorax
-- Apex of prosternal process without a distinct margin (side view), although there is a sharp juncture (ventral view) between posterior punctured part and smooth anterior part (California).
-- Posterior femur black or dark brown.
Body
-- Elytron without median callosity (side view shows no bump).
-- Elytron typically without subhumeral blotch.
