Brunner Family Forest Preserve ?

East Dundee town
Nope, just in town. We've had them most years. Occasionally females but often just some males. I should get out to the parks now, as it's peak B. affinis season.

Thanks i have never seen this
Thanks i have never seen this species and after reading about it started looking for it but still no success

I think they've been spotted
I think they've been spotted at a couple spaces around Glenview. I don't think I've recorded them at James Woodworth, though. They're out now, they emerge in numbers in late summer. They're short-tongued, so like flowers such as Joe Pye, mint family plants, etc.
