Fiery Skipper - Hylephila phyleus - male

Fiery Skipper - Hylephila phyleus - Male
Glendale, Los Angeles County, California, USA
August 18, 2019
Size: 1 to 2 cm.
On brightly flowering Lantana bushes, bordering the sidewalk of a neighborhood lot, were numerous Skipper Butterflies that appeared to be two different species. It now seems likely that I was seeing male and female Fiery Skippers. I suspect this one of being male.

Moved to Hylephila phyleus
Moved from ID Request.

Yes, Fiery Skipper.
