Size: Approx 1-2" long
Found eating beet leaves. Kept in a jar for 3 days. Ate voraciously for three days. Now has gotten very fat and much bigger and has stopped eating.

I have images of two caterpillars that are nearly identical to this specimen that have avoided identification in spite of hours of searching. I would like to know what they are.

 
I'm thinking it might be some
I'm thinking it might be some kind of tussock moth. But I can't really be sure.

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at Dasychira, Euproctis, Leucoma, Lymantria and Orgyia but have not found anything like this specimen. It seems that tussock caterpillars are elaborate and colorful compared this specimen.
