It's been almost a year since I looked at the California Dept. of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) site whose links
are still broken
but might get fixed one day because the site is still alive. I had forgotten what
metaleuca
looked like. Fortunately, MPG has a couple of thumbnail copies of a CDFA pic (such as at the bottom of
this page
) that show the distinctive markings.

I believe this is
Matigramma metaleuca
, # 8682. (I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think the genus is now Acritogramma).
