Jumping spider. Maybe Pelegrina? ... again - Pelegrina

Jumping spider. Maybe Pelegrina? ... again - Pelegrina
Woodbury, Washington County, Minnesota, USA
Originally identified by me as Pelegrina proterva, but now not so sure.

he photo was taken some time between early July and late August, 2018

Moved to genus for now
Moved from ID Request. I was hoping for one or the other and not "on the fence". I still think it is likely that it is a P. insignis but it can only be safely identified to genus.

Hmm...
What was the habitat? P. proterva prefers woodlands and woodland edges whereas P. insignis prefers grasslands and other open habitats. The somewhat frosted appearance of this specimen suggests the latter but habitat would help me ID it.

Woodland edge
The photographer responded: "Woodland edge was the habitat."
