Does anyone know the type of moth this is?
I found it stuck in some grass and helped it to fly out.

Yes, Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. Very pale, but that is mostly due to wear, I think.

Looks like a butterfly, papilio spec to me (maybe p. glaucus?) but i'm not an expert..
