On Late Boneset (Eupatorium serotinum at the edge of a dense mixed forest. The closest I'm seeing is C. nigriceps, but it isn't an exact match. Any help is much appreciated!

This is not a Collops. It is an Attalus species, probably Attalus otiosus Say, a common eastern species.
