Size: 10 mm
The rarely collected Heterachthes polingi has a very rare form: Some specimens such as this male lack the typical antemedial, wavy, yellowish elytral macula. This specimen was taken at UV lights just 3 days after a typical form of a female specimen was taken at the same place.
