Eupeodes fumipennis ... female
Eupeodes fumipennis ... female.
The female opinator has a clear cut line between the black and yellow areas of frons and not diffuse like here. S. opinator doesn`t have black stripe to knob on face and has the yellow markings on tergites less undulating especially on posterior margin. Female opinator have the markings on tergite 2 less deep. S.opinator in good light has the dorsum more bronzy and from most angles with some signs of a pair of grey longtitudinal stripes.
