1:30 am August 30 2019, mating on grass stem near small stand of young black locust seedlings. Three other lone males and one lone female also observed, on the black locust.

Not sure about these. The head shape and color pattern looks like Manomera blatchleyi but the middle femora on the male are way too thick to be a Manomera

Thanks. I have a few more photos if you're interested.

I brought the 3 males I saw on the black locust back to the house and put them in with some females I had collected 2-4 weeks before, all of them on Solidago about a quarter mile away. One of the males immediately began trying to mate but I am not sure it was successful as they didn't stay together very long.

UPDATE: Lots of mating happening. I put on my readers and saw lots of eggs on the bottom of the cage, and one female is about to drop another egg.
