Sphinx Moth
Wow, someone or something has removed almost all of the scales from your moth's wings. I'm not sure that any kind of an ID could be relied on here, below the family level. (probably tribe Sphingini)

Bob, this was so different from normal - I also leaned Sphinx but was not sure if there is a translucent winged one I'd not seen. Wonder what can cause such massive scale removal? Been through a car wash
