The detail you've captured in the wing makes for an informative image, very nice. Now if we can just get the subjects to respond to verbal directions, "extend your dextral hindleg just a tad outward and forwards, and give me a bit more front face serious look."

Actually, these are cooperative insects, just so long as you've chilled them slightly before attempting to shoot photos. Otherwise, they can be just a little feisty to work with! (-:

 
More kudos
This is one of those images that capture the subject so well that I feel like I've seen it in real life. Maybe it is the sense of the texture that the lighting provided. All in all a very nice shot. For what ever reason, the Corydalids are not represented in my region, thanks for posting this one.
