Exoprosopini Tribe Bee Fly - Exoprosopa iota

Exoprosopini Tribe Bee Fly - Exoprosopa iota
Llano County, Texas, USA
July 16, 2007

ID
This appears to be Exoprosopa iota, one of the most beautiful in the genus. It is only found in Mexico and nearby parts of Texas. Nice catch!

Recorded
In KS and AR as well.

Range
This is of course possible, but I suspect the records reflect misidentified specimens. Where did you get the KS and AR data?
