small fly - Caricea alma
Stow, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
March 7, 2008
Size: ~3-4mm

Moved
Moved from Muscoidea.

Thanks Matthias
I moved it to the superfamily containing Muscidae or Anthomyiidae.

Calyptratae
Too bristly for an Ephydrid (check bristles on hind tibia - this is very rarely found in Acalyptratae). This is a Muscidae or Anthomyiidae.
