I saw 3 of these caterpillars in the morning (8:15am) crawling on clematis and azalea. Googling “blue striped caterpillar, yellow belly” revealed nothing. My friend who raises monarchs had t seen them but suggested they looked like lopers (loopers?) but no matches when I Googled that...
