Mompha annulata
This is Mompha annulata, a species that during the 2019 field season was markedly more commonly seen than usual, at least in Indiana and Illinois. It is similar to M. argentimaculella but differs in having no yellow patch on the costa of the forewing just basal to the apical scale tuft (yellow patch present in M. argentimaculella), and in having most of the antennal flagellum prominently "annulated" with white flagellomeres (thus the species name), whereas in M. argentimaculella, the flagellum is largely or entirely dark, with at most a few pale flagellomeres near the apex.
