Some kind of nest

Some kind of nest
Harrison, Hamilton County, Ohio, USA
September 5, 2019
Size: ~ 1 inch long
Found on brick wall. I'm very curious what species makes a nest so small. It won't hurt my feelings if it is frassed, I'm so hopeful someone can satisfy my curiosity.

Frassed
Moved from ID Request.

Can't see enough detail, but they look like they could be fall cankerworm eggs.

Insect eggs?
Looks like a group of eggs, most of which have hatched, leaving the open "cells".
