This individual was found stringing web 2 to 4 feet above the ground at the edge of a thick patch of weeds that included jewel weed. Image 1 provides a view of the front with six eyes, fangs, and pedipalps. Image 2 provides a top view of the cephalothorax and view of the front end of the abdomen. The pattern on the front end of the abdomen actually triggered the face recognition feature of the camera as this photo was being taken. Image 3 is a ventral view of the spider as it passes in front of a jewel weed blossom. Image 4 provides a rear-side view with a view of the spinnerets. Image 5 provides a dorsal-side view of the abdomen and what appear to be strands of silk from one of the spinnerets.
