I think it's safe to say Hemiptera, at least.

The shape and arrangement rem
The shape and arrangement reminds me of leafhopper eggs.

Eggs
This is a row of eggs inserted under the leaf epidermis. The little lid-like appendage at the top of each one suggests Heteroptera, and my first guess is Miridae (plant bugs), but I don't have any experience with their eggs, so it would be great if you could collect the leaf and see what pops out. Great photos!

Eggs Unknown
This makes more sense than bug tracks. It also looked to me like an imprint of a small caterpillar with its feet. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that particular spice bush. Hopefully I will have another opportunity to discover one of these. I did a quick search for image similar to this but haven't found anything yet. Thank you!
