Size: 5-7mm
This picture was taken with a macro lens. This type of spider is common here, of all sizes, with this kind of 'chevron' marking on their abdomen. They seem to like sitting in one place...

Spiderling?
Spiderlings are pretty hard to ID. I have a feeling this might be a Zygiella spiderling. Compare with other Zygiella here.
