Acalypterate fly with spotted wings - Geomyza tripunctata

Acalypterate fly with spotted wings - Geomyza tripunctata
Oakland, Alameda County, California, USA
Size: Approx 3 mm
This is distinctive enough, but it doesn't act right in keys I've tried. Details:
*Subcosta complete but weak distally; apparently no costal break; R1 with a bump or distortion at the costa; anal cell closed.
*Vibrissa present; postocellar bristles absent; one pair of strong reclinate frontal bristles.
*Arista plumose, with longer hairs dorsally, short ones ventrally.
*Katepisternum with one strong bristle; anepisternum with one strong & several weak bristles along posterior margin.
*Tibiae without preapical dorsal bristles.
