Identification
Shortly oval, with characteristic pattern in brick red to reddish brown; pronotum also with pattern of basically 9 maculae, merging into another -
this unique in the north American fauna (only C. verrucosa with pronotal spotted pattern, but different)

sky island mountains of w. Texas / w. Mex. -
