Calopteron or maybe Lycomorpha?

Calopteron or maybe Lycomorpha?
Marietta, South Carolina, USA
September 10, 2019
When I first saw this and took the photo, I thought it was a moth. After a little digging, I thought it might be a Calopteron beetle. But then I found that some Lycomorpha moths mimic Calopteron, so I'm not sure. What would be some clues to look for? Thanks for your help!

Calopteron is correct

Moved to Lycidae for expert identification.
Moved from ID Request.

Hopefully, it will be nailed down for you. I see that there are quite a few photos on the family page that haven't been identified.

The minute ridges all over the elytra are the tip-off that it's a Lycid rather than a moth.

Lycidae
Thanks Ken! I've already learned something from you with the minute ridges. I really appreciate it.
