Astata or different shaped Sand Digger - Tachysphex terminatus

There were a few of these quick flighty sand wasps. Previously posted on iNaturalist and ID suggested was Astata.

This one stopped to dig a hole and eventually completely disappeared in the ground below the sand. It was hard to photograph these ones and I rarely got close enough to get a shot.
