Arizona Eyed Click Beetle, Alaus zunianus, in New Mexico (barely) - Alaus zunianus
Guadalupe Canyon, Hidalgo County, New Mexico, USA
September 4, 2016
Noticed on the trail. It was not far from the Arizona border, but definitely on the New Mexico side

ID is probably correct...
but A. lusciosus also gets into NM and southern AZ, so that should be considered, without examination of cuticular microsculpture and aedeagus.
