Unknown small insects found
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
September 20, 2019
Size: est. 1-2mm
Several of these were found in a terrarium throughout the substrate. Their thorax was flexible and the wings were glossy. Mold was also abundant in the environment. Very tiny insects and moved quickly, though they have wings, none were spotted flying.

Moved from ID Request.

Are you certain they have wings?
The environment, size and general appearance are consistent with Springtails--but they don't have wings.
