Blurry shot, I know, but could this really be a yucca moth? So odd to read about the New Hampshire and Ontario records. This shot was taken out by the back porch light. No yuccas in my yard! :-)

Yucca Distribution
The USDA web site shows Yucca filamentosa in Massachusetts. See distribution maps for Yuccas here. Found a Yucca key here.
