O. maculatus female - Oecobius maculatus - Female

Size: 2.7 mm
Heather K found this adult female Oecobius under a rug on a patio and sent it to me for ID. It looks like an excellent match to this species, which appears to be a previously unrecognized introduction to the US. A newsletter article is being submitted to the AAS and we hope to have this published in the next couple of months.
