Wow!
I'm pretty sure I ID'ed this correctly, which means this is a new eastern state record for this fly (or maybe evidence of a cryptic species being present within signata)! Also, this is a new genus as a host species for signata! The other ones that have been recorded are all also in the family Asteraceae (Anaphalis, Gnaphalium, Baccharis).
