Prior to this past week....
...I would have thought, gosh, it looks so much like Texas tree cricket. But I would have been hesitant to move it to O. texensis given the location. However, I spent several days in Arizona last week, both north of Phoenix and east of Tucson, and discovered that O. texensis was very prevalent. I failed to find a single O. californicus. Both the green and brown forms dwell there.
I was south of San Manuel - just north of the Pima co. line.
