Melanocanthon Dung Beetle ? - Melanocanthon

Melanocanthon Dung Beetle ? - Melanocanthon
Lake Wales, Polk County, Florida, USA
March 21, 2008
Size: 7 mm
I had seen these before thinking these were small Canthon sp. Is this a Melanocanthon? It was attracted to dung bait in a rural sandy scrub area. I tried to get a decent shot of the tiial spur for ID. Please advise. Thanks.
