Eumorpha fasciatus

Eumorpha fasciatus
Karnack, Harrison County, Texas, USA
September 20, 2019
A pair of Eumorpha fasciatus were spotted mating on 09/13. A search of Anglestem Primrose-willow (Ludwigia leptocarpa) plants in the area over the next several days yielded several eggs. Eggs were all laid singly on the underside of a leaf. No more than one was found per plant.
