Mallophora? - Heteropogon divisus

Mallophora? - Heteropogon divisus
Ft Bayard Nursery Rd, Grant County, New Mexico, USA
October 10, 2019
Size: Small
The closest thing I can find to this small robber is Mallophora fautrix, but the black hairs in the mystax and the extensive yellow hairs on the legs seem wrong.

Not Mallophora. The antennae look closer to Megaphorus. But it could very well be something else, too. I think we need to wait for the experts.

Heteropogon divisus, female.
Heteropogon divisus, female. New record for BugGuide; very nice Philip.

Thanks.
Thanks, Eric. No wonder I couldn't figure it out from past BG photos. I'm glad you're here to help out laymen like me.
